Käyttöohje

• Pour out remaining water from the vapour chamber and clean with a damp cloth.

• Clean the wick lter by letting it soak in clean water for about 2 hours. Check that

all possible impurities are removed before reinserting the lter into the vapour

chamber.

• Remove the lid from the water tank and pour out water if any. Fill the water tank

half way up, put back on the lid and shake it to clean the tank. Rinse the water

tank one last time and ll in clean water. Remount the lid. Position the water tank

in the vapour chamber again.

• Reinsert the wick lter in the holder and push the vapour chamber into the master

unit (E).

Replace the complete wick lter once a year (in case of daily use). Can be ordered with

OBH Nordica 08-445 79 00. If the appliance is not used very often (e.g. only during the

winter months), the wick lter should be replaced every second year.

Cleaning of the master unit: Wipe the master unit (D) with a cloth dampened in

warm water. Rub off possible scale residue with a soft cloth.

Cleaning of vapour lter: Remove the grid (P) on the back of the appliance. Remove

the vapour lter (O) and clean it with a small brush or similar. The grid can be rinsed

in water and dried. Reinsert the vapour lter in the grooves of the grid and press the

grid back in position on the back of the appliance.

Be careful not to immerse the entire appliance or the cord in water. Never use

any kind of detergent when cleaning.

Storing

Store the appliance in dry conditions. If you will not use the appliance for a long

period of time, clean the appliance in accordance with former instructions and make

sure that all parts are dry before storing the appliance.

Safety instructions

1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.

2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 220-240V only, and use the appliance

only for the intended use.

3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use.

4. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,

unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the

appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a

responsible handling of electrical appliances.

7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.

8. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open re or the like.

9. Keep the appliance under supervision during use.

10. Use only original equipment from OBH Nordica.
