Setting of wanted speed

Press the Humidifying mode adjustment button on the control panel under the lid

to change the speed of the fan:

- Low = low, energy-saving speed – the signal lamp of Low goes on.

- Med = medium speed – the signal lamps of Low and Med go on.

- High = high speed – the signal lamps of Low, Med, and High go on.

If the water level gets too low during use, the appliance switches to stand-by and the

low water level indicator (F) starts ashing. In this case, turn off the appliance on the

on/off switch (D), ll the water tank (H) and put it back into the vapour chamber. Next,

switch on to restart the appliance.

Timer function

Press the Timer button on the control panel to set the timer function at 2 or 4

hours (the signal lamp of selected setting goes on). The appliance is switched off

automatically, when the time set has elapsed. Make sure that the water tank is full

before the timer function is activated. If there is not enough water in the tank, the

appliance goes out when there is no more water and the low water level indicator

ashes. If you want to have the appliance run continuously again, press the Timer

button until the two signal lamps go out.

Lock function

Press the Safe Lock button on the control panel until the signal lamp goes on to lock

the other buttons. This function makes it sure that no undesired activation can take

place. Press the Safe Lock button until the signal lamp goes out to unlock the buttons.

Switch off the appliance

Always switch off the appliance by means of the on/off switch (D) and unplug after

use.

Attention

• The gurgling sound you can hear when water is lled in the vapour chamber is

quite normal.

• The water in the water tank should have a temperature between 4 and 50°C and

should be clean tap water or distilled water.

• If the local water is mineral-bearing (hard water) this may cause white residues on

the appliance and on near-by surfaces round the appliance. So this does not mean

that the appliance is defective, but that the tap water is mineral-bearing.

Cleaning and maintenance

Switch off the appliance and unplug prior to cleaning. Clean the water tank and the

vapour chamber once a week.

• Lift the water tank (H) from the vapour chamber and pour out the water.

• Pull out the vapour chamber (L) by grabbing it on the underside and pull it out.

• Remove the wick lter (K) from the lter holder by lifting it.
