13. Never use metallic utensils in or on the toaster and never

touch the element of the toaster.

14. WARNING! In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent

resetting, this appliance must not be supplied through

an external switching device, such as e.g. a timer, or be

connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off

automatically.

15. Always check the appliance, the cord and the plug before

use. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer or his service agent or a similarly qualied

person in order to avoid a hazard.

16. The electrical installation must comply with the current

edition of the Danish declaration of high voltage current

concerning additional protection in the form of a residual

current device (RCD with a rated residual operating current

not exceeding 30 mA.) Check with your installer.

17. The appliance is for domestic use only.

18. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or

is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual,

the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with

the user. Any damages to the product or other things are

not covered by the warranty.

Before use

Before you use the toaster for the rst time, read the instruction

manual carefully and save it for future use.

Use

Position the toaster on an even and heat-resistant surface. Plug

the switch to a wall outlet. Before you use the toaster for the

rst time, let it get warm without any bread in order to get rid

of any impurities. Put the thermostat at 6. Next, press the bread

elevator. After a while the elevator will rise and the toaster is

ready for use.
