Connection to the mains supply

Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to

the voltage marked on the rating label of the

appliance. This product complies with all relevant

CE-labelling directives.

Important safety instructions

Before the appliance is used, the main body as well

as any attachment fitted should be checked

thoroughly for any defects. Should the appliance,

for instance, have been dropped onto a hard surface.

It must not be used any longer. Even invisible

damage may have adverse effects on the operational

safety of tye appliance.

Children do not recognize the dangers that may

occur when operating electrical appliances.

Therefore keep such appliances away from children.

Do not allow the appliance or its power cord to

touch hot surfaces or to come into contact with any

heat sources.

Always switch the appliance off, wait until the

motor has come to a complete standstill and remove

the plug from the wall socket, before attempting to

clean any attachments.

The blades are extremely sharp. To prevent injuries,

take special care when handling these parts.

- during cleaning of the appliance

During operation, the appliance should be placed on a

scratch=resistant surface.

No responsibility is accepted if damage results from

improper use, or if these instructions are not complied

with.

This appliance is intended for domestic use only and

not for commercial applications.

In order to comply with safety regulations and to

avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be

carried out by qualified personnel, including the

replacement of the power cord. If repairs are needed,

please send the appliance to one of our customer

service departments. The address can be found in the

appendix to this manual.

children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-

ances by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.
