Aseta lyijykynästä tai värikynästä, jonka lyijy on

katkennut, katkennut puoli terän aukkoon. Liikuta

kärkeä kevyesti edestakaisin, kunnes kiinnijuuttunut

lyijy irtoaa.

Älä käytä tähän metallipuikkoa tai ruuvimeisseliä,

muutoin terä voi vaurioitua.

Laite sisältää elektronisia komponentteja. Siksi on

mahdollista, että se häiritsee välittömässä lähei-

syydessä olevia radiolähetinlaitteita. Tällaisia voi-

vat olla esim. matkapuhelimet, radiopuhelimet,

CB-radiolaitteet, radiokaukosäätimet/muut kau-

kosäätimet ja mikro aaltolaitteet. Poista tällaiset

Jos paristot/akut vuotavat, poista ne välittömästi

Push the unit upward and take it diagonally from

the sharpener housing.

Use a broken-end pencil pointing into the blade.

Move the broken-end slightly back and forth until

the jam lead is released.

Do not use a metal rod or screw driver to avoid

blade damage.

Cleaning and maintenance

The device should only be cleaned on the outside

with a soft dry cloth.

Under no circumstances should you use liquids

or detergents, as these will damage the device.

Troubleshooting

The device contains electronic components. There-

fore it is possible that the device might affect

electromagnetic signal transmitting or receiving

equipment in its near vicinity. If you notice this

problem, place a greater distance between the

sharpener and the affected equipment.

Electrostatic discharges may cause the device to

malfunction. In the event of such malfunctions,

remove the batteries briefly and reinsert them.

When the pencil sharpener is blocked by an ob-

stacle such as pencil core or wooden residue, you

may use a sharp object to remove the obstacle

from the blade and turn the sharpener upside

down to clear the obstacle.

Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean

the contacts on the battery/rechargeable battery

and in the battery compartment before inserting!

Remove exhausted batteries/rechargeable bat-

teries from the product immediately.

If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked,

avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous mem-

branes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the

affected areas with fresh water and seek medi-

cal attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

Leaked or damaged batteries/

rechargeable batteries can cause

burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable

protective gloves at all times if such an event oc-

curs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries/

rechargeable batteries, immediately remove

them from the product to prevent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries/

rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and

new batteries/rechargeable batteries.

Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of

soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur

within 2 hours of ingestion.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never

recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Do not short- circuit batteries/recharge-

able batteries and/or open them. Overheating,

fire or bursting can be the result.

Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries

into fire or water.
