ANIMAL WAFFLE MAKER
(CAUTION: Hot surface):
Operating instructions
• Use the lid handle to lift the top lid to the open position.
• Insert the plug into a suitable mains socket (220-240V~50Hz)
The green READY light will illuminate. Close the lid.
• While preheating, prepare batter.
• After approximately 2 to 3 minutes the RED light will illuminate
indicating the unit is preheated and is ready for use.
• When the wafe maker is preheated ll each of the moulds on
the lower cooking plate to almost full.
• Note: Do not overll, batter will expand when cooked
• Use the handle to lower to the top lid and close the wafe
maker, allow to cook for approximately 5 minutes or until done.
• Note: Check if ready by inserting a dry toothpick into the
centre of the wafe. If it comes out dry, the wafes are ready.
• If necessary, cover and continue cooking for 30 seconds at a
time until wafes are browned and cooked to your liking.
• The RED light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains
baking temperatures.
• Wearing oven mitts, wipe the outside with a clean paper towel
or cleaning cloth if necessary.
• At the end of the cooking time, use the handle to lift the top lid.
• Wearing oven mitts, remove wafes from the cooking plate
using non-metallic utensil.
• Note: If additional wafes are to be baked, keep the cupcake
maker closed to retain heat.
• Note: Wafes made later may bake faster because extra heat
has been retained, it may be necessary to adjust to a shorter
cooking time to accommodate.
• When baking is complete, unplug the power cord from the
socket, lift the top lid to expose the cooking plate and allow
unit to cool.
• Unplug the Mains when not in use.
• Do not clean until unit has fully cooled.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Important safeguards
• Please read these user instructions carefully before use.
• To prevent damage, check that the mains voltage required is
compatible with your mains voltage.
• If fault occurs please cease using product immediately.
• Check that the power socket is easily accessible since the
appliance does not have an On/Off switch.
• Ensure that it is not possible for anyone to trip over or to get
caught up in or step on the mains cable and injure themselves.
• The appliance may only be used on a rm, level, dry and
non-ammable surface. This will prevent it form tipping over,
sliding or setting re to the surface and causing damage.
• Maintain a distance of at least 50 cm from other objects to pre-
vent them from catching re.
• The appliance must not be placed on hot stoves, put in a hot
oven or set up in the vicinity of gas heaters and on-demand
water heaters, as this could cause damage.
• Only use implements made from wood or heat-resistant
plastic. Metal implements may damage the coated surfaces.
• Surface cleaners may contain ingredients that could attack
and soften the rubber feet, place appliance on a non-am-
mable surface that is free from possible contaminates and
ensure the surface is dry.
• Do not place any items on the appliance.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.

service personnel, A short power-supply cord is provided to re-
duce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over
a long cord. An extension cord may be used with care, however,
the marked electrical rating should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord should not
be allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over.
