ASSEMBLING YOUR CLEANER

Remove all components from the packaging.

1. Connect the hose to the cleaner bag door, ensuring it clips and locks into position. To

release: simply press the two buttons on the hose end and pull. [2]

2. Connect the hose handle to the tube upper end. [3]

3. Connect the tube lower end to the nozzle. [4]

USING YOUR CLEANER

1. Extract power cord and plug it into the power supply. Do not pull the cord beyond the

red marker. [5]

2. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube by moving the telescopic release button up

and raise or lower the hose handle to the most comfortable cleaning position. [6]

3. Carpet & Floor Nozzle **. Press the pedal on the nozzle [7] to select the ideal cleaning

mode for the oor type.

Hard Floor: The brushes are lowered to protect the oor

Carpet: With lifted brushes for the deepest clean

4. Switch the cleaner on by pressing the On/Off button on the cleaner main body. [8]

5. Fixed Power control - The cleaner will operate at a fixed power setting.

6. Variable Power control - Rotate the On/Off button to increase or decrease the

suction level. Use low suction for delicate fabrics. [9]

7. Switch off at the end of use by pressing the On/Off button. Unplug and press the cord

rewind pedal to wind the power cord back into the cleaner. [10]

8. Parking and Storage - The tube can be parked for temporary storage while in use, or

in the storage position when not in use [11].

CLEANER MAINTENANCE

Reverter System - how to change from PureHepa bag to Dust Manager

Cyclonic Cassette mode.

Depending on your preference. You may wish to use this cleaner with the Hoover exclusive

Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette instead of the PureHepa bag.

1. Switch the cleaner off and remove the plug from the electricity supply.

2. Open the top cover and grip the bag holder. [12] Lift the bag holder vertically out of

the cleaner. [13]

3. Place the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette into the cleaner by pushing downward

vertically with the handle toward the front of cleaner, ensure that the Dust Manager

Cyclonic Cassette is fully located. [16]

4. Close the top cover.

When full, please dispose of the bag immediately.

1. Open cover, grip the bag holder and pull upward to remove.

2. Pull the tongue to remove and seal the bag. Dispose the full bag into the bin.

3. Only use Hoover genuine PureHepa bags. [14,15]

Emptying the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette

Check and empty the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette regularly, best after each use.

4. Extract the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette. [16]

5. Use the handle to carry the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette to the dustbin. [17]

6. Pull the latch to remove the cover from the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette. [18]

7. Grip the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette rmly and tip the contents into the dustbin.

8. Shake the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette if required or use a brush to remove any

of the remaining dust or debris. [18,19]

9. Wash the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette if required. See chapter “Maintaining the

Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette lter”.

10. To close the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette locate the cover rear guides onto the

container then close rmly.

11. Return the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette to its original position in the cleaner.

Maintaining the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette Filter

To maintain the best performance, we recommend that you wash the Dust Manager

Cyclonic Cassette lter every month or as soon as you notice a drop in performance.

1. Shake out the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette to remove large dirt and debris

as described in “Empty the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette”.

2. Brush the inside of the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette to remove the fine dust

that may have formed on the walls of the Dust Manager Cyclonic Cassette. [19]

3. Push the latches to remove the bottom filter grill. [20]

4. Tap filter against bin until fine dust is removed.

5. Rinse filter under lukewarm water and agitate inner pleats, ensuring both sides

are cleaned.

6. Remove excess water with a dry cloth and leave to air dry for 24 hours or until fully dry.
