HouseParty Portable Wireless Please read before use.

Product features:

■ Wireless universal portable speaker

■ Ultimate Bluetooth audio with aptX

and AAC

■ Rechargeable lithium-ion battery

■ Customisable power management

■ USB port for charging mobile devices

■ Line-in port for use with other music players

■ Up to 12 hours’ battery life*

Getting started:

■ Plug the power cable into the back of the unit

and then into the mains supply.

■ Charge your battery for 24 hours to calibrate

and get the best performance.

■ To activate the speaker, press the POWER

button (

Note: When pairing your iPod touch, iPhone or

iPad to HouseParty Portable Wireless for the first

time, your device will display a notification that

your accessory requires an application. Tap OK to

go to the App Store download page and proceed

to install the free SmartLink Wireless app.

To connect your handset with

HouseParty Portable Wireless

using Bluetooth:

■ The unit should be on, the power indicator blue.

■ Ensure that the Bluetooth (

) LED is fast

flashing (if slow flashing press Bluetooth (

)

button for 6 seconds until a beep is heard).

■ If using an iPhone/iPad go to Settings >

General > Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth (

) is

turned on. ‘HPP Wireless’ should appear in

the list of devices. Select to pair.

■ If using an Android device go to Menu >

Settings > Wireless & Networks. Ensure

Bluetooth (

) is turned on. Select Bluetooth

Settings > Scan for Devices. ‘HPP Wireless’

should appear in the list of devices.

Select to pair.

■ Your handset should now be paired and your

audio applications operate through your

HouseParty Portable Wireless.

■ To connect additional devices follow the

above process again.

*Wireless app-enhanced features require GEAR4 SmartLink app for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch

(3rd and 4th generation only), iPad (3rd generation), iPad 2 or iPad with iOS 5.0 or higher. Bluetooth connectivity

requires iOS 5.0 or higher. Bluetooth range up to 20m, depending on line of sight. App screens correct at time of print.

Extended power mode will deliver lower volume output.
