Easy Fix Christmas Tree Stand

Safety
• This product is not designed for use with artificialtrees.
• Never let children play with theproduct. Theproduct has
parts which pose arisk of trapping or crushing fingers.
• Do not fill theproduct with too muchwater. Doingso might
result in leaks and water damage.
• Before each use, theproduct should be inspected for
cracks to prevent damage to theunderlying surface.
• Never position thetree close to afan heater, stove,
fireplace, naked flames or other potential source of ignition.
Instructions for use
Removing thetree
This product is intended for indoor useonly.
Product description
1. Gripping claws with wire tensioner
2. Ratchet foot-wheel
3. Release pedal (detachable)
Max length of tree 200 cm (6.5 feet).
Max diameter of tree trunk Ø 8cm.
• The bottom of thetree must be cut squarely.
• Do not drill holes in thetrunk of thetree, doing so will affect
its ability to absorbwater.
• Remove all branches from thetrunk around thearea which
will be gripped by theclaws (about 13 cm from thebottom).
• Place thetree stand on astable and level surface.
Warning:
Be careful not to trap any parts of your body between thewire,
theclaws and thetree trunk when thetree is being gripped by
theclaws.
Erecting thetree
1. Place thebottom of thetree in thecentre of thestand and
hold thetree vertically.
2. Rotate thefoot-wheel downwards to tension thewire and
press thegripping claws against thetreetrunk. Makesure
that thetree is vertical and stable. Ifthetree is not standing
vertically, press down therelease pedal to slacken thegrip
theclaws have on thetree trunk, adjust theangle and then
grip thetrunk again by rotating thefoot-wheel.
3. Lift therelease pedal upwards and outwards to detach it
from thestand. Keeptherelease pedal in asafe place, out
of children’sreach.
4. Fill thewater reservoir carefully to ensure that water does
not runout. Themax water level is roughly 3 cm from
thetop edge of thehole.
1. Attach therelease pedal as shown in thefigure.
2. Grip thetrunk of thetree firmly and press down carefully
on therelease pedal to slacken thetension on thewire and
release thegrip of theclaws.
3. Lift thetree straightup. Thetree might need to be jiggled
alittle from side to side to release it from thegrippingclaws.
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using adampcloth. Useonly mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Responsible disposal
The product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.
